L'Oreal Paris Root Cover Up

When I was invited to participate in the L'Oreal Paris Root Cover Up Vox Box, I was quite excited to be invited to try out this new product and see if it could get me over the inbetween coloring times.  

I should start off on saying that I was sent a dark blonde color and have a lighter blonde hair - I was thinking no problem!  It still SHOULD be better than the roots, right?

Wrong.

The color was WAAAAAY too dark for my hair - in fact I felt that it looked worse than the roots that were there before.  This was closer to a brown than a blonde.

I can attest that the product DID live up to it's claims of full coverage (it was also a little odd looking to me to have your scalp dark) with an easy spray and lasting until the next wash.

Ultimately, this was a big fail for me as the color was closer to a dark brown than any blonde I am familiar with.

I WOULD recommend this product for brunettes - but blondies - maybe look elsewhere!.

Where have I been?

I have been here; alive and incredibly happy... I have even had some great blog ideas!  So why have I NOT been blogging?

The one person who I 100% did not want reading this blog dug their way into finding it and proceeded to spend hours reading and re-reading posts.  Said person also decided to send pages of messages detailing the things they read and discussing their thoughts on it... Better than 100 text messages and showing up at my home in the middle of the night again, I suppose.

Regardless, it left me feeling sick that this person was reading these thoughts, no matter how innocent they may be.

I've struggled for a long time & tried my hardest to cut this person from my life, as their presence can never be anything but toxic to my wellbeing.  At this point, I more or less feel nothing but indifference to them.  I'm also cannot deny that this indifference can from much struggle and going through pure Hell.  Letting go is not easy, but hanging on can be harder.

That being said, I have many thoughts I'd like to blog about - so perhaps you will be seeing me around again...
